My name is Joe Martinez. I am the founder of and president of J&J Outfitters. A little about myself. I was an outdoorsman from a very young age with a strong love of the wilderness. After graduation from College I served in the military as an Airborne Infantryman and a Special Forces Soldier (Green Beret). My military service has taken me to all corners of the world and in places where we sell hunting and fishing trips today. I especially have extensive experience traveling into Latin America and I am a fluent Spanish speaker. I am also an accomplished Taxidermist.
I started this outfitting business with my partner and good friend Jason Tucker. We are both avid sportsman. I have extensive experience in big game hunting and fishing. Jason has extensive experience as a wingshooter with waterfowl being his passion. During our first wing shooting trip to Argentina, we were in awe with this country’s wingshooting opportunities, especially waterfowl. We found Argentina to truly be a wingshooters paradise. As a bonus we discovered a friendly safe country where a sportsman felt welcome and at ease. We knew immediately we would want to return time and time again. However we couldn’t afford to come back the next year to Argentina unless we could find a way to turn our adventures into a business. So we did just that and started selling hunts for our host in Argentina. We became successful almost immediately because we sold our hunts at a very reasonable price, provided good customer service and the game was abundant.
From here we expanded into other countries. We kept the same philosophy of providing reasonable prices, good customer service and providing locations with an abundance of quality fish and game. We now provide adventures in Alaska, Texas, Paraguay, Africa , Brazil and Mexico. We have strong relationships with all the guides we represent. We visit with our host often and insure we are all on the same sheet of music. We put our own boots on the ground to make sure we sell what we promise.
